Boiler Maintenance

The components for turning on and off the boiler are examined

to ensure proper operation which are the following:

  1. Low water cutoff
  2. Roll out switch
  3. Spill switch
  4. Vent damper
  5. Pig tail
  6. Tri indicator gauge
  7. Pressure relief valve


The boiler is drained completely to remove calcium and magnesium deposits.


The water is replenished to the boiler's capacity to test the integrity of the heat exchanger.


The burners and chamber is cleaned.


The igniter and flame sensor is checked.


The sight glass if needed is removed and cleaned.
